Looking at the March and April cohort of cases, we can see a fundamental shift in the age of the COVID positive cases has occurred as testing became more prevalent and mandated for some younger populations:

A case today is not like a case from yesterday. There are significantly more younger people being tested who likely have zero to no symptoms.
